Palatine, Illinois Real Estate

I got my first glance of Palatine when my husband and I moved here from Los Angeles.

My husband grew up and Palatine and he wouldn’t hear of raising children anywhere else. I grew up on the west coast so the small suburb in the Midwest was completely different for me. I still remember seeing Palatine for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised.

It was beautiful and neat and nothing was out of place. I had been skeptical at first because of all the praise I had heard about Palatine and how my husband described how lovely it was but I immediately fell in love with the small city. It’s exactly as my husband had described. I thought he was exaggerating, but he sure wasn’t. Because so many of the houses in Palatine are so pretty, it was difficult deciding on a home. There are many small charming family homes and big two-story houses. We ended up buying a cute midsize home, which we found on www.realestateinpalatineil.com.

A friend of my husband’s recommended the site after they helped him and his wife find a home. When my friends from Los Angeles they ask me when I am coming home, I tell them Palatine is my home now.
